Hardfacing

Hardfacing is a welding process we often use to increase a surface's resistance to wear and tear, impacts, abrasion and corrosion. It can also be used to restore a worn down surface and significantly increase the operable lifespan of older parts, or be used as a form of preventative maintenance. Applying hardfacing can reduce machine downtime and prevent expensive repairs.

Hardfacing involves applying dense layers of material in varying thicknesses to the surface that requires reinforcement, thereby improving durability.

Many of our hardfacing procedures are fully certified by the TSSA for use on boilers, pressure vessels and other applications, and can meet or exceed the strictest quality standards.
